Distribution Yield

Description

Like the dividend yield of a stock, the distribution yield measures the amount of cash distribution per unit relative to the unit price (expressed as a percentage).

Calculation

DY% = Distribution Per Unit / Price Per Unit X 100

For example, if the distribution per unit is $1.30 and the current market price is $35.50:

DY% = $1.30 / $35.50 X 100= 4%
